I’m in the middle of a twist of Fortune book of the Sergeant windflower mysteries. I don’t understand why Sheila’s desire to go back to nursing school isn’t part of the story. And how she could be mayor, if she going back to nursing school.
What happened to that thread of the stories?

Hi Jane
That seems like so long ago… at least for me
The nursing school idea was something that Sheila wanted to pursue but lots of things got in the way. She was trying to do it online and that didn’t really work. And her community needed her to step forward as Mayor. So that dream faded away but she did find other things that have excited her and allowed her to grow.
